Health Center volunteers needed
If you are looking for a way to help your community, The Health Center of Helping Hands needs volunteers.
Bilingual volunteers are needed and help is needed with answering telephones and filing.
If you do not have the time to volunteer, please consider making a donation. The Health Center relies on support from local businesses, civic organizations and individual contributions.
The Health Center offers quality health services to those that have Medicaid, Medicare and those with no health insurance coverage or with deductibles so high they cannot afford doctor visits and routine test.
We believe all people deserve quality healthcare. Our nurse practitioners serve patient needs along with volunteer doctors that provide their time and services.
The program is not designed to compete with doctors, but to help people that cannot afford routine healthcare by offering affordable rates for office visits and some lab fees.
